Sallie Family

A family with deep roots, a rich heritage, and an ability to achieve the impossible. All those that have come before us have left a legacy, a legacy so strong it seems almost impossible to follow. Strong beliefs and traditions are something that stood the test of time. Our ancestors left a big part of them with us. It has shaped us into who we are today,  but there is so much we do not know. Perhaps this is a way for us to put flesh on their bones and breathe life into them, or do they live on in our memories? Whatever that memory may be, it will always have an impact on our lives.

The Sallie family has grown just as a tree grows. Each leaf has its place in this intriguing network of boughs and twigs.

Genealogy is not a simple task. Gathering the facts takes endless hours of research, opening up old wounds, feeling the sorrow that was hidden so far, you forgot about it. But the reward is priceless. Those that were clueless now know who they are and where they belong in this twisted rope of genes. This site is dedicated to all those who have left us, who have played such an important role in our lives whether we have met you or not. May the Almighty grant them Jannah Tul Firdose. Ameen.

Trama Kassie to all of our family members who have made this project a reality, but just a small reminder, the work is far from done. 😊
